Vivian M. Grusnick

GRUSNICK, Vivian, went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2018. She was born on January 2, 1934, in Wooster, Ohio to the late Joseph and Florence DeLuca. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Grusnick and granddaughter, Faith Voorhis. She is survived by her children, April (Rick) Swartz, Mark (Doranne) Voorhis, Christy (Richard) High, Randy (Lynn) Voorhis, Joseph (Dawn) Voorhis; her step children, Dawn (Neal) Semich and Alan (Carolyn) Grusnick; her 11 grandchildren; her 5 great grandchildren; her siblings Joseph DeLuca and Lana Immel; and several nieces and nephews. Vivian will be dearly missed. She enjoyed many friends and was an avid sports fan; including football, baseball, and hockey. Vivian was involved in community service, including Avondale High School and the Boys and Girls Club of Auburn Hills. Visitation will be Monday, May 7, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, MI. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 10 AM, with gathering beginning at 9 AM until time of service, at Pixley Funeral Home, Rev. Weatherly Verhelst will be officiating. Due to construction, it is recommended to enter the Funeral Home from Juniper Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Troy or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
