I am Bill Hathorne emailing from Kansas City where I read about David online. We have not seen each other in 50 years, but we were both in Mrs. Brock's 4th grade class at Washburn School.

I remember him as very kind and friendly. I seem to remember that he lived on Blackmere Avenue and was related to then-Governor Kenneth Curtis.

Please accept my sympathy.

Blessed to have known David since our days back at Edward Little, but I really got to know him well when we attend USM. I think I spent more time in his dorm room than mine. He, Billy Hird, Crosby and and the rest of the cronies were so much fun to be around. David was always very kind, sweet, considerate and like most of us, was humbled by life over the years.
David has a special place in my heart ❤️. I loved seeing him at CMMC where he volunteered for several years. The staff in our area loved seeing and joking with him; he had a way of making everyone smile and laugh! I will miss his warm hugs, our reminiscing of the college antics and his big beautiful smile! God Bless you David!!😘
