South Paris - P.C. Laurier "Larry" Bouvier, 91 of Auburn, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the Maine Veterans Home. He was born in Auburn, November 16, 1919 the son of the late Alcide and Ophelia Guilbault Bouvier. He was educated in Auburn schools and served his country in the U.S. Air Corp during World War II. Larry was married to Florence Bernier. Prior to his retirement in 1985, he was employed for Seltzer & Rydholm, Inc. of Auburn. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish at Sacred Heart Church, American Legion Post # 135 of New Auburn and the Auburn Knights of Columbus council. Larry enjoyed traveling and playing golf in his retirement years. He is survived by his wife Florence of Auburn; three children, Louise Bouvier of Auburn; Laurier L. Bouvier of East Moline, Illinois and Claude Bouvier and wife Barbara of Hamden, Conn.; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Jacqueline Goulet of Sanford; a brother, Normand Bouvier and wife Marguerite of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Committal immediately to follow at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
