

She was born Barbara Ann Bouton, on October 10th, 1937 in Kent, Washington. She graduated from Kent Meridian Highschool in 1955, and went on to a career as a Paging Operator at Bon Marche' known today as Macy's. Barbara served Macy's for 28 years and retired in 1995.
She met Clayton F. Dumas at a military function in Kent, Wa. They were married, and continued to live in the area for the rest of their lives, allowing them to develop a tight knit group of family and friends.
Barbara was an active member of the Garden Club, and 4-H Horse Club. She was passionate about children, and was honored with the Playground Teacher award for her service to local children.
In addition to her love and devotion to her family and friends, Barbara loved horses and Western film and novels.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Clifford H. and Gertrude Bouton, her husband Clayton F. Dumas, and her beloved children Kelli L. Rogers and Clayton "Michael" Dumas.
She is survived by her brother Clifford Bouton Jr., sons Timothy L. Dumas (Jill Riley) and Patrick W. Dumas (Nancy Dumas). She has six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in her honor at Price-Helton Funeral Home on October 28th, 2011 at 1pm in the afternoon. A graveside commital service at Mountain View Cemetery is to follow.
