Corey Joseph Browne

Corey Joseph Browne, 40, of Auburn, passed away while surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. He courageously fought his illness alone, not wanting to worry his loved ones. He leaves behind his wife Tabitha, daughters Hailey and Hannah, parents Mike and Melody, sister Kristi-Lynn, mother and father-in-law Lloyd and Tona Hooley, Mike and Esther Cassara, five sister-in-laws( Christina, Priscilla, Cody, Destiny and Journey), three brother-in-laws(Rob, Josh and Mikel), two nephews( Jaike and Skylar), and two nieces(Faith and Jaden).

Corey was born November 21, 1974 at Auburn General Hospital and was always a lover of the great outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, target shooting, four wheeling, and skiing. He married Tabitha Cassara in 2000. The two of them started dating in high school in 1993. They continued to live in the south King County area where they could be close to family and friends while raising their beautiful daughters (2001 and 2005). Corey seemed to really find his calling in fatherhood and dedicated much of his time to his girls – as well as many other children of friends and family that always seemed drawn to him. The one thing that came even close to his passion for his wife and daughters were the Seattle Seahawks. He was a 12 through and through always sporting his team colors and you couldn’t drag him from the TV during a game! So many lives were touched by Corey and his charm, it is difficult to imagine life without him.

Rest in paradise Corey, you will always be loved and never be forgotten.
