Dorothy passed away early Tuesday morning with her husband by her side after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She is survived by her husband Duke, her sons Jim, (Debbie) John (Delberta) , Joe, Jeff, Tom and her daughter Maryann (Jerry) Hickox.
Dorothy grew up in Enumclaw where she met the love of her life Duke Dahlquist at a dance. They were wed August 23, 1952. They went on to have six children, thirteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She enjoyed wintering in Arizona where she and Duke golfed often. They had 63 happy years together.
