

Edith Myrtle Davis, a resident of Auburn, Washington passed away on August 14, 2015 at the age of 80. She was born in Cass County, Minnesota on April 22, 1935, the daughter of Elmer and Mary (Adams) Robins. As a young child, Edith’s family moved to and lived in Washington, Oregon and Montana. In Montana, she married her first husband, Bill Hargrove, and then they moved to Auburn, Washington in 1958. Together they had 6 children, three girls and three boys. After their marriage ended, she married Walter Davis in 1975, and they remained married until he passed away in 1997. Edith enjoyed life, and knew how to live well. She loved listening to Elvis and Hank Williams Jr., and was so inspired she taught herself how to play guitar. She also enjoyed raising goats over the years and taking care of her yard and gardening. Most of all, Edith loved her family, and especially loved spending time playing video games with her grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by her daughter Donna Dauenhauer of Kent, Washington in April of 2014. She is survived by her sister Loretta Rickter of Longview, Washington; her sons Everett Hargrove, Billy Hargrove, and Lawrence Hargrove, all of Puyallup; her daughters Diana Shannon and Laura Hargrove, both of Auburn; her grandchildren Maria Justice of Colorado, David Hargrove of Puyallup, Thomas Hargrove of Kent, Zeth Hargrove of Bloomington, Minnesota, Ben Hargrove of Black Diamond, Joshua Hargrove of Bonney Lake, Jeremiah Hargrove of Puyallup, Triston Hargrove of Puyallup, Jamie Copp of Everett, Carmie Bonilla of Auburn, Peter Bonilla of Auburn, Kayla Hargrove of Auburn, Tina Dauenhauer of Kent, and Lisa Dauenhauer of Kent; her great grandchildren Elycia Sayers, Patience Edith Marie Hargrove, and Colby Bonilla-Wright.
