Jack Donal Ruth

A funeral service will be held Friday Sept 15 at 1pm in the LDS Stake Center (34815 Weyerhaeuser Way South Federal Way, WA 98003) there will be a viewing from 11:30am – 1pm prior to the service.

Jack was born Oct 19 1924 in Electra, Texas the second child, of Cyrus and Lara Ruth. His early years were spent in Texas and New Mexico. He and his family moved to the Seattle area in 1956.

Jack worked for Boeing for a total of 40 years, the last 10 he was a lead-man in his shop at the Auburn Plant. After retiring Jack and Bibs moved to Malaga, Washington returning to Federal Way 4 years ago.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Dolores “Bibs” Ruth, daughter, Virginia “Jenne” Johnson and husband Scott, son, Blair Ruth and wife, Susie; Daughter-in-law, Christine Ruth widow of son Michael Ruth, Terry Schooler and husband, Joe, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Milan; brother, Virl Ruth and wife, Jan; Sister-in-law, Kathryn Wright; brother-in-law, John Wright and wife, Billie; and numerous nieces and nephews

His parents, Cyrus and Lara Ruth; son, Michael Ruth, sister, Tina Powell, and great-grandson, Thomas Ramero preceded Jack in death.

Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Covington.
