John Wickman

Born November 30, 1950 in Kahoka, Missouri and passed away November 11, 2011 at his home in Lake Tapps, Washington. After high school John attended community college and began his apprenticeship training as an optician. He worked as an optician for 40 years and owned his own optical company. John enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, baking, astronomy, bird watching, fishing, bird hunting, and kayaking. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, and the OAW (Opticians Association of Washington, and was a supporter of Ducks Unlimited. John is survived by his wife of over 40 years; Sunny, son; Jim, and daughters; Jacqui, and Robbi, as well as 6 grandchildren and one sister; Yvonne Barber and mother; Janis Wickman.
