We Love you Aunt Lena and deeply miss you. We were fortunate to live close enough to be able to visit occasionally. Every visit you were excited to see us and we hated to leave. We will forever have you in our hearts. Love Marty Sue and Whitney

God saw that Mom was growing tired, she had endured almost losing her leg, the diagnosis of breast cancer and multiple other medical problems.

She suffered much in silence but never did I see her spirit bend. She faced her pain with courage and never did she quit until the very end. I wish she could have held on one more week, I would have been with her, in the end. It's sad to see you go, but I know God has freed you from your pain. 

I will miss our daily calls and NEVER will I forget your courage, your love, and your support. My birthday will never be the same, it will now also be the day angels wrapped their wings around my Mom and freed her from her pain, for that, I will celebrate to the end of my days.

I remember her and uncle Don staying with my grandparents in there house in Washington in the downstairs level. We got really close during that time. She will be missed by all but she is up in heaven with uncle Don,her sister Stella her brother's Doug and Howard,and her mom and dad. My heart goes out to family she has left behind especially her boys Ed and Dave. She is in heaven looking down on all of us  and she doesn't want us to be sad for her passing for she is no longer suffering. God needed another angel home to look after us. I will miss you aunt Lena.

I visited Lena and Don with Tom and Theresa many years ago and had long talks about jobs they had worked on and people they had known over the years.  Lena was always a kind person.  I visited her several times with Theresa over the years after Don was gone.  Although she had some very hard times and was in a lot of pain at times, she was always kind and very happy to see us.  She is with Don again and is happy and no longer in pain.

i love you sis, I remember you and Nedra helpd me thru my loss and i will never forget it.love and miss you. thank you Ed and Dave for this, and God bless you two.

I haven't seen her in a long time. She looks just like I remember, like a woman you can always go to if you needed a hug or just to talk. We will always keep you in our hearts. LOVE YOU AUNT LENA

I was fortunate enough to be where I could times with her often. She was "My Older Sister & 2nd Mom" she was the one that helped us stay clean, and learning our chores/housekeeping duties while ou Mom worked outside the home. I will miss her every day, but glad she is with our families in a better place & her body is well and whole. Enjoy it Lena, you have earned it, I love you. Your sister,Nedra

I am so sorry for your loss Ed and Dave....I loved working with Lena at the Seward Coffee shop she was always so kind to me and fun to work with. I know she will be missed by many.

Ed, Dave, I am so sorry We can't be there Tuesday. My  prayers will and my heart will. I am, as I told David, absolutely certain I know where she is right now and I am happy for her. She is with all her loved ones that went before her, hugging and laughing with Momma and Stella. I have not been able to find the name of the Pastor that she and Nedra were so happy to have known. He was affiliated with the Union Gospel Mission in Seattle. They have a donation site online and that is where Tom and I are donating in her name. She loved that pastor and I know the feeling was mutual. Via Con Dios, Lena.
