Martha "Boots" Miller

Born in Earlsboro, OK, married 57 years to Ray Miller, survived by her sister Cheryl Faye Cameron (Orville) of Stockton, CA, daughters Pamela Farris (N David) of Federal Way, WA, Ardis Blackburn (Kelly) of Mesa, AZ, son Bryan Miller (Bonnie) of Flower Mound, TX, 7 grandchildren, Erin Markquart (Joel) of Bonney Lake, WA, Sara Wells (Albert) of Sask. Canada, David J Farris (Jessica) of Federal Way, WA, Raymond Miller of Flower Mound, TX, Bryanna Roop (Thomas) of Irving, TX, Brooke Blackburn of Mesa, AZ and Taylor Blackburn of Mesa, AZ, 4 great grandchildren, Nathan, Edie, Zoe and Eli Markquart of Bonney Lake, WA. Boots is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 4 sisters and her brother. Boots moved to Federal Way from So CA in 1980 after living with her husband for many years in Thailand and Indonesia. In her 70s she owned Rags to Riches consignment shop in Kent, WA where she wore suits and high heels to work 6 days a week. She was an impeccably groomed 'classy' lady. She finished her career as a 'greeter' at Wal Mart for a number of years. She loved to work and be busy. She will be missed. The family wishes to thank the many nurses, aides, and support staff at Hallmark Manor and Franciscan Hospice for their guidance and their compassionate care in Boots' final weeks. The family will gather at a later date to celebrate her life.
