In 1959, at a catholic youth club, the city girl met a country boy, Albert Kristek of Ramona, Kansas. They were married that same year. After living in Wichita, Kansas the couple moved to Seattle, Washington in 1979 where they raised their four children. The children grew up with the loving support of their mother at every turn.
On July 20th 2017, following years of Alzheimer’s disease, she passed away peacefully. She is survived by her loving husband, Albert, and her four children: David, Mark, Cathy, and Paul. She was also blessed with four grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
We want to let her know that she was an amazing person and wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her intelligence, her wit, her love for life, family good food, good wine and good friends. And a good ballgame!
As always, MaryAnn wants us all to be happy, to have fun and to be there for each other. In the end, she was our best friend.
She will be laid to rest in Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way, Washington on July 27th, 2017.
