Stan Bowen was born in Kent, Washington on June 12, 1943 to Cecil and Lela Bowen. He passed away unexpectedly in an auto accident February 8, 2010. Stan served in the Army in Special Forces during two terms in Vietnam from 1966 - 1968 and earned three Purple Hearts. He has recently written a book about those years-- being the author of "Inveritas Shadows." Stan and his wife Marsee, have been married 45 years. He is survived by his wife Marsee, children; Viki (Dan) Dougherty, Chadd (Misti) Bowen, and three grandchildren: Laura Jean Dougherty, Robynn Dougherty, and Gavin Dougherty. Funeral Services will be held, 11:30 AM, Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Price-Helton Funeral Home, 702 Auburn Way N. in Auburn, WA with Committal Services to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn.
