

A consummate mother and homemaker, Neita was an excellent cook and baker. She enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. She was a sports fan of TV baseball and football. Go Sea Hawks!
Neita had an unwavering faith in God. In her younger days, Neita, her Dad Ted, and Grandma Shaughnessy had a small band that played at dances. She graduated from Sequim High School as their Majorette and could really twirl that Baton.
Verneita is preceded in death by her loving parents, Beulah and Ted Shaughnessy, Fred and Rose Lagger, her brothers, Eugene, Neil, Benjamin, Lawrence, and Ted Shaughnessy, her sister Mae Maupin, and sister-in-law, Roberta Shaughnessy. Her grandson David Allison and great-grandson Jonathan Olds.
Neita is survived by her five children, Rebecca (Harry) Allison, David Keith, Scott Keith, Lisa (Don) Smith, and Paula (Pat) Aronson. Eighteen Grandchildren, forty-eight Great Grandchildren, and three Great Great Grandchildren. Her loving sister Crystal (Dick) Parker, Marie McFadden, Carolyn and Linda Lagger, sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Phyllis Shaughnessy. A special Aunt Nettie Nelson. In addition, Sharon and Jesse Sampair. Numerous Nieces and Nephews to name. We would like to mention Ann Keith, Richard Yake, and Laura Brustad.
We would like to especially thank the family of our Sister, Paula Aronson for their loving care of our Mother.
