His commitment to education and exploration continued throughout his life. From 2015 to 2016, Al was involved with Valley Christian School’s AMSE Institute International Space Station program. His contributions and accomplishments were also recognized by the California Legislature, which presented him with an Assembly recognition for the 23rd District on May 9, 2012.
Above all, Al will be remembered for his steadfast faith, his devotion to Carol and his family, his inventive mind, and his enthusiasm for life's many possibilities. He leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, creativity, and a lifelong commitment to learning.
