Amos Aaron Smith

Our loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend and Santa - Amos Aaron Smith, of Lake Wales, FL, passed away Monday, January 26th, 2015 at the Good Shepard Hospice in Auburndale surrounded and supported by his family.

Aaron was born February, 16th 1941 on Signal Mountain, TN to the parents of Minnie Belle and Ernest Smith. He met the love of his life in the mid 70’s got married and began his journey through life living in Signal Mtn. TN, Ringgold GA, Sycamore IL, Paducah KY, Statesville NC, Hartselle & Moulton AL before moving to Lake Wales to pursue their dream to live in the beautiful state of Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of Lake Wales; his five children, Myrna Warren of Suwanee, GA, Pat Smith of Signal Mountain, TN, Jeana Schickedantz of Browns Summit, NC, Tommy Martin of Suwanee, GA and Curtis Smith of Signal Mountain, TN; four grandchildren, Heather, Matthew, Sydney and Grace; nephew, Chris Smith of Signal Mountain, TN; niece, Debbie Phillips of Murfreesboro, TN. Proceeding Amos in death were his parents, Minnie Belle and Ernest: brother, Paul and sister, Nancy.

The memorial service for Aaron will be held at First Baptist Church of Lake Wales, FL on Friday, January 30th at 3 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 7th at 2 PM at Chattanooga Memorial Park in Chattanooga, TN.
