He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Murray Collins. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara Heckman, two sons, John Johnson (Donna), of Jacksonville, FL, and James Jackson (Chera), of West Milton, Ohio, and three grandchildren, Logan, Matison, and Keaton.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan 12th, from 1 to 2 with a service following at 2. Both will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale
