Cynthia Lynn Roberts

Cynthia was married to her beloved husband, Walter J. Roberts, on October 5, 1968. Together they shared a lifetime of love and partnership. She had a successful career in the banking industry, serving as Vice President for 30 years, and later as a Legal Secretary for 20 years.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Cynthia found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. She loved traveling, seeing new things, reading, and making lasting memories with those she loved.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Walter J. Roberts; daughter, Deena Porter, and her husband, Andrew Porter; brother, Kevin Burget; grandsons, Lukas Croix Porter and Benjamin Lane Porter; and cousins Kim and Stuart Chalk, Jessica, and Casey, along with many more cousins living out of state.

A celebration of life for Cynthia will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K-Ville Ave, Auburndale, Florida 33823.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Cynthia will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her warmth, kindness, and love for family will never be forgotten.
