Mr. David Rick McCarter, 61, of Winter Haven passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. He was born on December 1, 1954 in Lawrenceburg, TN to the late Franklin and Joyce McCarter. He was in construction and a professional musician with the Mason Dixon Band and Silver Eagle Band. He was a member of Heartland Church in Winter Haven.
Mr. McCarter is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sharlene McCarter, daughter, Erica Williams (Chris) of Alaska, son, David Shane McCarter of Winter Haven, four grandchildren; Chandon and Chase McCarter, and Tyler and Tori Williams, brother, James McCarter (Eunice), and his sister; Donna McCarter and Teresa Thomas (Matt).
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, from 6 to 8 pm and a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, at 10 am. Both will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale, FL.
