Loving husband of Janet (nee Prestinario) for 50 years. Devoted father to Donald (Tracy), Darren (Becky), Samantha (Jeff) Wisniewski and Jonathan (Rebecca). Dearest “Poppy” of Rebekah, Hannah, Jack, Sam and Callen. Beloved son of the late Robert and Marie and brother to the late Loretta (Don) Hoessler, the late Robert, the late Dora (Francis) Schneider, the late Margaret (Bill) Mulcahy, Arlene White and Norma (Rich) Cason. Loving brother in law to Sam Prestinario. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friend to all. Retired employee of BP Whiting Refinery. Born and raised in Chicago, IL. Former student of St. Kilian’s School, Mendel Catholic High School and Calumet High School. May the struggle he endured inspire all who fight the good fight! Funeral services are private.
