Lakeland – Elizabeth A. “Betty” Golden, age 87, of Lakeland, Fl due to heart failure. She was born March 24, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of John and Katharine (Foster) Roddy. She was a registered nurse and member of St. Joseph
Catholic Church.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Edward T. Golden. She is survived by her sons: Patrick, Edward, Michael and Paul, daughters: Elizabeth Golden, Mary Ellen McFarland, Jean Gorton, Suzanne Landis and Maureen Hale, 19 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00am on Friday, October 20, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
