Betty loved to laugh. She loved to go out for a good meal with friends. She was a charter member Disney pass holder and spent many happy hours in the parks at concerts, Food & Wine, Flower & Garden and "Soaps" events. She traveled and cruised...showed me some of her old haunts when we went out of Miami. How she enjoyed her timeshares, especially Bonnet Creek! She loved her sportscar and her pool. She enjoyed the holidays, decorating for Halloween, Easter, Fourth of July, but especially CHRISTMAS! Who can forget that train? She was incredibly loyal to all her family and friends. I remember when the girls were down and her granddaughter, Jessica, first was learning to walk in the lazy river at Bonnet. Betty was SO proud of that! I will miss you, Betty. We all will.

My dear, sweet cousin. So thankful for the chance to know her and have two Disney reunions. Proud to be a part of the Leo club with Betty. Loved and never forgotten.

Betty, Was one of a kind. If you were her friend you were always her friend. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Loved the Florida sunshine and Mickey. Was the Best Woman at our wedding and a truly dear friend. RIP my Friend, you've earned it. See you again one day.

My sympathy to the family. Betty was a wonderful person. I met Betty through Bonnet Creek and Disney. We had some fun trips to Naples, Sapphire Valley, Daytona Beach, and Orlando. We loved to share our accommodations at Bonnet Creek. She loved Disney and the swimming pool. Last New Year’s Eve, after the most spectacular fireworks show from the balcony of tower 3 at Bonnet Creek, she said, “I hope this won’t be my last one.” Every time I see fireworks, I will think of Betty!

Prayers for the family on your loss. Many years ago I met Betty thru another friend at the Post Office. Thru the years we have shared lots of laughter, tears, beers & oysters together! Betty is now healed and will truly be missed.
Cheers to you my friend, Betty Boop 💞

I worked with Betty at the Lakeland Post Office and actually came to know her better after we both retired. Betty had a wicked sense of humor, no hesitation in telling you if she thought you were wrong and a good heart. I admired her independence, love of travel and Devil May care attitude. RIP Betty.

So very sorry to hear this! We met Betty on an Alaskan cruise quite a few years back. We quickly became friends. Loved her beautiful smile and sense of humour. Had hoped to visit but unfortunately it never happened. Our sincere condolences to her family. Keep smiling Betty, we loved you!

I met Betty when I started at Lakeland Chrysler Dodge 8 years ago. She was such a good friend and was always happy. Well unless someone at work ticked her off then you So glad I was able to spend time with her outside of work. She was truly an awesome person to be around! Love you always Betty! RIP!

So many memories to chose from: Super Soap weekends ( you went to every single one), holiday feasts with ocean views, our beloved Bonnet Creek, how you loved fireworks, the Loveless Cafe, how you loved to travel to new places, enduring friendships, how you loved our dad and us, and made us your own. Fly high!
