Eulyn was born December 23, 1929 in Athens, Alabama.
Eulyn was retired from The Polk County Clerk of Courts where she worked for several years. She was involved in a ministry for women at the Polk County Jail. She also helped support many evangelists over the years and was a prayer warrior for many, many people.
Family traditions were important to her and over the years, she played a huge part in making sure the whole family spent holidays together. Especially Christmas. She and her late husband hosted the family Christmas party every year for over 50 years.
She enjoyed cooking lunch every Sunday, after church, for her family and anyone else who was hungry. That was another tradition that she started over 60 years ago and is still carried on today. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Eulyn was a member of Heartland Church in Winter Haven where she belonged to a Heart Group filled with people who loved her and who she loved dearly.
Eulyn was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Nilon Grubbs. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Linda Grubbs, granddaughters: Kristell Grubbs and Tricia Grubbs, great-grandchildren: Brittney Barker (Frank), Dalton Barker (Reyna), Brantley Poole, Blayze Poole, and Tyara Thrift and great-great-grandchildren: Eli Barker, Mariah Barker, and Carson Barker.
