Evelene Jackson Williams

Evelene Jackson Williams, 84, of Greenville, SC, passed away on May 23, 2022. She was born on July 6, 1937 in Opp, Alabama. Evelene lived in the Winter Haven Florida area for most of her life, and just moved to Greenville in 2018. She loved to travel and had the opportunity to see most states across the US as well as visit Canada, England, Switzerland, Germany, and Belgium. Evelene never met strangers, only friends. She belonged to the Village Church of God, Winter Haven, and Eagle Lake Baptist Church, Eagle Lake Florida.

Evelene was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Robert Williams, granddaughter, Adrienne Altman (Heath), three brothers, four sisters. She is survived by her first husband, Don Harrison (Bertha) of Fort Meade, FL, three daughters, Mary Ann Foreman of Winter Haven, FL, Linda Pridgen (James) of Saint Cloud, FL, and Frances Sherry (Daniel) of Greenville, SC, two sisters, Jurlene Jackson and Dora Harrison of Alabama, grandchildren, Tia Brown (Jacob), Chandler Pridgen (Kelly), Harrison Foreman(Alicia), Graham Foreman(Merri), Aaron Sherry, Laura Ter Beek (Ben), and her great grandchildren, Madeleine, Avery, Andy, Louie, Theodore, Elliot.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 10-11am, with a funeral service following at 11am. Both will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Adrienne Altman Scholarship Fund.
