Lake Alfred- Frances Brown Murphy, age 75, of Lake Alfred, FL passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL due to cancer. She was born July 22, 1938 in Athens, AL the daughter of James Rowe Brown and Bertie Odell (Shedd) Brown.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Murphy. She is survived by her daughter Kay Vanzant, brothers: Jimmy and David Brown and one grandchild.
