Son of Danielle Smith Hodges and Derek H. Nee. He was raised in West Milford, New Jersey by Danielle and Nicholas R. Aronica his step father who has sinced passed away. Ian moved to Auburndale, Florida in July 2004 and graduated from Auburndale High School and attended classes at Polk State College.
Ian grew up with a wonderful childhood and loved everyone and everything. During his young years his passion was sports. He won many awards for wrestling, football, soccer and was a great asset to his team. As he grew older his passions for loving life grew stronger. He enjoyed the serenity of everything nature had to offer. He had discovered a new passion with building things and became a carpenter opened his own business and was successful in every avenue of life.
Ian was a fun loving happy person that was adored by all. When you met Ian you met a friend for life. He was always meeting new people and making friends no matter where he went. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who new him.
Ian is survived by his parents mother, Danielle Smith Hodges, Step Father Keith A. Hodges, father, Derek H. Nee. Siblings Rachel and Wendi Hodges, Ray Hascup, Aunts and Uncles: Lorrie Smith Maloney, husband Ray Maloney, Jay Smith, Cousins: Shane Smith, Alexandra Smith Brown, Jeaneean Humphrey, Kaitlyn Maloney, Hailie Smith. He is leaving being his best friends Robert Vitale, Nicholas Liggett, Daniel Quirk and many more.
