Winter Haven – Mr. James “Jim” A. Norman, age 72, of Winter Haven, FL died June 5, 2011 due to cancer. He was born September 2, 1938 in West Carroll, LA the son of the late Roy A. and Carolyn Lucille (Hicks) Norman. He was a warehouse man for the Polk County School Board and a member of the Moose Lodge #1023.
Jim is survived by his wife, of 19 years, Norma “Joann” Norman, sons Darren Norman (Katie) of Fitchburg, MA, Zachary DePuy and Ethan DePuy of Winter Haven, daughter Jill Sacca (Robert) of Watham, MA, stepdaughters Debra Depuy and Vicki Reis of Winter Haven and Shelia Powers (Andrew) of Auburndale, FL, brothers Bobby Norman, Winter Haven, Ricky Norman (Lois) of Bartow, FL, sister Fay Mulkey (Steve) of Bartow, FL and nine grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home at Glen Abbey. Funeral Services are Thursday at 2 pm at the funeral home chapel.
