Jerrye Jane Sherrard, "J.J.", died June 1, 2013 in Winter Haven, Florida surrounded by family and friends. Per her last request, burial services were held on June 1st at the Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven.
Jerrye Jane was born December 8, 1942 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was the only child of loving parents Jerry and Ellen Treadway of Denison, Texas.
She attended Denison High School and graduated in Commerce, Texas. She married Charles Sheppard Sherrard on May 13, 1960 in Madill, Oklahoma when Charles was in college at East Texas State University. She and Charles Sheppard were married for 47 years until his death in 2005.
Survivors include Charles Warren Sherrard of Winter Haven, Florida. Charles and Jerrye had 3 children all born on February 5th. Surviving children are Charles Scott Sherrard and wife Laura of Arlington, Texas. Son, Shanon Charles Sherrard of Dallas, Texas. Daughter, Heather Sherrard-Lee and husband, Cody of McKinney, Texas.
Grandchildren include Ben and wife Haley of Edmond, Oklahoma. Melinda and Megan Sherrard of Arlington, Texas. Hudson, Sheppard, Isabella and Lola Grace Lee of McKinney, Texas.
