John William Blackburn, age 80, of Lutz, FL passed away Friday, May 6, 2016. He was born January 7, 1936 in Columbus, OH the son of John Thomas Blackburn and Dorothy Basford Blackburn. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Air Force. He was a Clinical Lab Supervisor. Mr. Blackburn was preceded in death by his wife: Donna Dement Blackburn. He is survived by his loving family, son: John M. Blackburn, daughter: Sharon R. Snyder, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services are Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Ott-laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K-Ville Avenue, Auburndale, FL with burial to follow in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens with military honors.
