A lifelong Florida resident, Wade spent his younger years working hard as a business owner and roofer. He was a man who enjoyed being outdoors and experiencing everything Florida had to offer. He could often be found camping, fishing, boating, kayaking, and exploring the state he called home.
Those who knew Wade around town may also remember seeing him riding his bicycle — something he enjoyed and a sight to many over the years.
Wade was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years, Peggy, his second wife, Kathy, daughter, Debra Kowaleski; his son, Michael; and his grandson, Steven.
He is survived by many family members and friends who will remember him for his independence, his hardworking nature, and his love of the outdoors.
Wade’s memory will live on in the stories shared by those who knew him and in the many places throughout Florida where he spent his happiest days.
A Graveside Service will be held at Auburndale Memorial Park, 1889 W Derby Ave, Auburndale, FL 33823, US, on September 11, 2026, at 10:00 am.
