Kathy Louise Rupert, 63, passed away on March 25, 2021 in Winter Haven, Florida. She was born on May 7, 1957 in Lodi, Ohio to Walter Rowe and Virginia Clouse Rowe.

Kathy enjoyed the beach and going on cruises with her friends. She loved adventures with her grandkids and often took them to places like Sea World, Aquatica and the movies. During Halloween time Kathy would go to haunted houses and enjoyed watching other people get scared. She was a firm believer in "shop till you drop" and could spend all day shopping for anything and everything. Kathy loved helping others' she especially loved supporting her best friend's Lularoe business by acquiring quite the collection of "ugly pants". Kathy loved animals, especially her rescue cats.

Kathy was predeceased by her mother Virginia Rowe and previous husband James Dow. She is survived by her father Walter Rowe (Winter Haven, FL), her husband Terry Rowe (Winter Haven, FL) her brother Richard Rowe (Ormond Beach, FL), sister Karen Middleton (Hudsonville, MI) and her children Adam Vormelker (Spencer, OH), Eric Vormelker (Winter Haven, FL), Lyndsey Dow (Winter Haven, FL), Julie Steel (Grafton, OH) and Pam Graham (Grafton, OH). Kathy also leaves behind her grandchildren Jordan Vormelker, Alex Vormelker, Devin Vormelker, Mason Vormelker, Neveah Vormelker, Logan Vormelker, Damien Dow, Namiyah Ackerman, De'Nari Ackerman, Angela Huber, Zackary Seel, Gabrial Graham and Donovan Graham along with her 2 great grandchildren Hunter Huber and Journey Vormelker.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Kathy & I were best friends in middle school & high school. I was at her house so much, I told her parents it wasn’t really me but just a figment of their imaginations! They started calling me “figment” whenever they saw me. We had some great times together.
