Larry Roy Mullis, 63, passed away at home in Winter Haven August 22, 2012 due to a stroke. Larry was raised in Winter Haven attending Winter Haven High School. Larry had a landscaping business after retiring from the Polk County School Board and Scotty’s Lumber. He loved landscaping, football, pro wrestling, and classic cars.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy, his mother, Mary Pauline Mullis, sisters; Fran Hoskins (Rob), Joyce Royce (Jerry), Faye Shirley (Richard), a brother, Wendell Mullis (Carol).
A visitation will be at 10 with a service following at 11, both held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale on Saturday, August 25, 2012.
