Winter Haven- Lonnie Dale Whitworth age 56, of Winter Haven, FL passed away, Wednesday, May 7, 2015. He was born January 2, 1959 in Dade City, FL the son of Lonnie Lemuel Whitworth and Jane Carolyn Hughes Whitworth. He was a deacon and member of the Church of Christ in Lake Wales. He enjoyed family and friends above all else. Dale was a Boy Scout Master, Soccer and T-Ball coach. He was a stay at home Mr. Mom for 3 children. He was a very caring person who put others before himself.
Dale is survived by his mother: Carol Whitworth, his wife of 26 years, Heather Whitworth, sons: Ryan Patrick Whitworth (Shannon) and Ethan Thomas Whitworth, daughter Erin Ashleigh Whitworth, brothers: Roger Dean Whitworth, Kenneth Alan Whitworth (Tammy) and Kevin Wayne Whitworth (Tonya), granddaughter: Lauren Charlotte Whitworth and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Monday, May 11, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K-Ville Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823.
Funeral Services are Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 10 am at the Church of Christ, 463 N Buck Moore Road, Lake Wales, FL 33808 with John Guzzetta officiating.
Burial to follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL
