Loretta Webb Marshall

Lori was born on July 9, 1957, and was a proud graduate of South Miami Senior High. On July 5, 1980, she married the love of her life, Stephen (Steve) Marshall, and they shared 42 wonderful years together until his passing in 2023.

Lori was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She faced life’s challenges with strength and grace, remaining devoted to her family and faith. Though disabled in her later years, Lori found great joy in simple pleasures — solving word puzzles, watching cooking shows, and spending precious time with her grandchildren, Hayley and Ray, whenever her health allowed.

A woman of deep faith, Lori attended Palmetto Presbyterian Church while residing in Miami and was comforted by her church community throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Marshall (42) and Mallery (Ron) Gibson (40); her beloved grandchildren, Hayley Gibson (18) and Ray Gibson (14); her siblings, Kathy North, Bill (Magaret) Webb, Linda (Mark) Calkins, and Donna (Billy) Gehrin; and many nieces and nephews.

Lori was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen (Steve) Marshall, her brother-in-law, Roger North, and her parents, Dr. Edgar (Ed) and Doris Webb.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her daughter, Mallery Gibson, to help cover additional costs.

Lori will be remembered for her loving spirit, her warmth, and her devotion to her family. Her kindness and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Lori's life will be held on November 22nd at Spirit Lake Community Church at 11 a.m.
