Madelyn Peavler

Mrs. Madelyn R. Peavler of Auburndale entered her heavenly home with Jesus Christ surrounded by family on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at her home at the age of 88.

Born in Jonesborough, TN on April 27, 1930. She retired as the manager of J. Burns’ Pizza and Pipes in Winter Haven. Madelyn was a member of Heartland Church in Winter Haven.

Preceded in death by husband, Cotton Peavler; mother and father, Roy and Silvia Lloyd; two-brothers, Robert and Joe Lloyd, and granddaughter Staci Griffin.

She is survived by son, Flip Peavler, West Palm Beach; daughters, Jean Garst, Jonesborough, TN, Annette Cardwell, of Auburndale, Sue Griffin of Kissimmee, and Bobbi Moosbrugger of Winter Haven; six-grandchildren, Bryan Lanier, Teesa Howell, Hoss Griffin, Lori Jolliff, Austin Peavler and Alex Peavler and one great grandchild Madelyn Howell; and two-great-great grandchildren Adrienne and Avery.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. at Heartland Church, 225 Ave B NW, Winter Haven. Dr. Daniel Moosbrugger Officiating.
