Mary Grismore-Cowles, 75, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on March 17, 2017. She was born in Elgin, Illinois and moved from Springfield, Illinois to Port St. Lucie, Florida before coming to Lakeland. She worked in administration for the State of Illinois. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland and the American Legion.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William Cowles of Springfield, Illinois. She is survived by her children: Kevin (Michele) Grismore of Westfield, New York, Lynn (Claudio) Burns of Lakeland, Florida, Tina Scarbrough of Belvidere, Illinois, and Robert (Diane) Grismore of Freeport, Illinois, four step children, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
