Nona M. Gilbert, age 89, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. She was born on March 15, 1934 in Fargo, Georgia to the late Travis Eard Pittman and Mae Estelle Mercer Pittman.
Nona was a member of Eastside Assembly of God. She was a Godly woman who loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Gilbert.
Nona is survived by her son Jeremy Gilbert, daughter Cheryl Young, brother Nelson Pittman and sister Bonnie Raciborski along with numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A visitation for Nona will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 AM. Following the service, burial will take place at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale.
