

Ouida moved to Florida from Alabama 71 years ago. She worked as a School Bus Driver for the Polk County Schools and was a member of the Haines City Junior Women's Club. In her spare time, Ouida enjoyed the beach and loved reading.
Ouida is predeceased by her father James Granger, mother Georgia Granger, brother Jay Granger and sister Audrey Tindle. She is survived by her daughter Kim Hancock of Clermont, FL, daughter Sherry Anderson and husband Wade of Auburndale, FL, daughter Cathy Cross of Marianna, FL, son Jeff Hancock of Haines City, FL, sister Patricia Bassett of Lakeland, FL, brother Mike Granger of Lake Wales, FL and her grandchildren West Anderson and wife Megan, Ciera Simpkins, Summer Hall and husband Ryan, Wyatt Hancock, Danielle Hancock, Gage Carnley and Dawson Carnley. Ouida also leaves behind 2 great-granddaughters and one on the way, niece Rhonda Freeman and multiples other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A visitation for Ouida will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 PM. Following the funeral , a graveside service will occur at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
