Born on June 6, 1941, in Simpson, Pennsylvania, Patricia lived a life defined by love, laughter, and purpose. She dedicated more than thirty years as a Purchasing Agent across diverse industries, including manufacturing, the food sector, and later the movie set industry. Patricia earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania—a testament to her commitment to learning and excellence.
Beyond her professional achievements, Patricia was the heart and soul of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Nanny), and great-(great) grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Her greatest joy came from the simple pleasures of life and giving to others. She shared her time and talents generously throughout her life with her involvement with the Girl Scouts, Florida Writers Association, Catholic Council of Women, and the Secular Franciscan Order. Later in life, she fulfilled a dream by becoming a published author of two books. She belonged to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winter Haven and her faith and compassion guided her every step, leaving a legacy of love that will live on in all who knew her.
Patricia is survived by her children: Patricia (Dave) Beaumont, Michael Balinski, Elizabeth (Thomas) Berdis, and James Balinski; her cherished grandchildren: Nick, Brandy, Michael, Amanda, Nicole, Chris, Matt, Steven, Thomas, Kayla, Mary, and Joseph; as well as many great-(great) grandchildren and a host of beloved family members, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jean Kilgallon; her husband of 40 years, Michael Balinski Sr.; her daughter, Jeanette Krysiak; and her brothers, Bob and Patrick Kilgallon.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will begin with a viewing on January 12, 2026, from 5:00–7:00pm at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, 2200 K Ville Ave, Auburndale, FL; followed by a funeral mass on January 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church Chapel, 532 Ave M NW, Winter Haven, FL, with burial afterwards at Edgewood-Greenwood Cemetery, 141 Edgewood St., Apopka, FL.
Patricia’s love and light will forever remain in our hearts. Her words and faith will guide those she left behind, and as her famous saying goes, may we always remember to “give our spouse’s a kiss that will knock their socks off”.
