I met Bobby about 20 years ago through his brother Hollis Jr from Maiden, NC. Bobby and his son Rikki would meet Hollis and me in SC. to go cat fishing every year. Over the years they became good friends of mine. He didn’t have to catch the biggest or the most fish, he just wanted to be with others. He would tell us other fishing stories from the past in Florida with his family. He (MIGHT) also even take a drink with you. I hope to see you another day later my friend.

Bobby had a big sister who loved him since he was born and a little sister who loved him since she was born. We were blessed to be together this past Spring. Our last moments together here on earth were spent in a group hug, just the three of us. This was an I love you visit that warms little sister's heart as she will only be with you in spirit on Tuesday as his life is celebrated. A fall visit is planned to spend time with the family to laugh and cry and celebrate a big brother who cared for and protected his little sister when he was home with her growing up. He loved all his siblings as he became an uncle, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a great-grandfather. His parents were guiding lights in his life. Bobby will remain a guiding light in all the lives he touched. I loved him dearly, he knew it...Lil' Sis

I'm going to miss begging him to make popcorn. I was blessed to have so many awesome memories. Costa Rica is definitely a top of the list though. It was fun watching him try to learn Spanish, but we had a wonderful mission trip there, and we shared the most amazing chocolate cake we could have ever eaten. He picked out my heart dog and gave a little girl the joys of her own dog. I'm so blessed he was at my wedding and got to meet Aubrey. I will greatly miss him. I hope he's in heaven looking down and smiling, and throwing a ball for Stacy.
