Roman was born in Matanzas, Cuba on January 22nd, 1933. He spent most of the early part of his life in the city of Matanzas where he met and wed Yolanda Provenzano Roman on December 29th, 1956. They had a daughter Nory Martin, and a son Roman Roman Jr. In September of 1969 he came to the United States where he lived until the day of his passing. He is survived, loved, and remembered by his children Roman and Nory, his daughter-in-law Maritza, son-in-law Jose, his grandchildren Joshua, Danny and wife Alisha, Roman III, and great-grandchildren Ezra and Sage.
Visitation will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K-Ville Ave, Auburndale, Florida 33823, on March 14, 2026, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by committal at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for a reception following the burial.
