Shirlene was a dedicated mom extraordinaire, military wife, and homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, knitting, crochet, and most of all, spending time with her beloved family and friends, and her cats, who were like her kids.
Shirlene was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Donald James Keahl, sister-in-law Terri Hebner, and parents, Frederick and Mary Hebner,
She is survived by her loving children, Michael Keahl (Theresa), Michelle Keahl (Lowery), and David Keahl (April), brothers Frederick Hebner, Carl Hebner (Susy), and Greg Hebner (Paula), as well as her grandchildren Jordan DePuy, Cora Keahl, James Keahl, Eric Gardner, and Ella Gardner.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church, 4625 Cleveland Heights Blvd, Lakeland, Florida 33813, on May 16, 2026, at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Pacific View Memorial Park in Newport Beach, California at a later date.
