She was a General Manager for Thrifty Car Rental in Manchester, NH and then moved on to the Accounts Payable department at Parkland Hospital in Derry, NH. Simone and Stan married in 1984 and resided in Londonderry, NH. They sold their home in 1989 and moved to Winter Haven, FL.
They moved to Salem, OR in 1991 for 2 years where Simone became a CNA and worked in MT Angel Nursing Home. They moved back to Winter Haven in 1993 where she worked in nursing on a private basis as well as working with hospice. She became a medical secretary at Gessler clinic in the Orthopedic department.
Simone retired in 2004 and was actively involved in the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW post 4289. Organized a Christmas party for the boys living at Anchor House, heading a fundraiser with local and national donations, held at Post 4289. Using the boys’ wish lists many gifts and tickets to sporting events were donated such as Tampa Bay Lightning and Arabian Nights in Orlando. Clothing and most items on their wish lists were given to each individual boy. It was an event that brought great joy to her heart.
Simone and her husband raised 5 children and was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
