

William Grant McNerney, a devoted husband, father, and veteran, went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2025 at the age of 80. Born in 1944, he proudly served his country in the Army and the National Guard in Zanesville, Ohio. On August 1, 1965, he married his beloved wife, Deborah, and together they raised three daughters.
William was a man of many talents, enjoying hunting, fishing, and woodworking in his free time. Throughout his life, he remained steadfast in his faith, which was a cornerstone of his character. Alongside his wife, William co-owned and operated a successful cleaning company for 22 years, showing his dedication to both family and business.
William is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Deborah McNerney, three daughters Tammy Sue Wise (Randall), Penny Gonzales (Eddie), and Billie Jo Spell (Kevin), as well as 6 grandchildren, Alisha, Joshua. Katie Sue, Heather Marie, Kevin Grant, and Emily Rose, and 4 great-grandchildren, Carter, Adalina, Addy, and Vance. He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Suzanna McNerney, as well as 14 siblings.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K-Ville Ave, Auburndale, Florida 33823 with a funeral service following at 11:00. William will be laid to rest with military honors at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
William leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
