Augusta, Georgia - God called his angel Amy Hartley home on Friday, August 3, 2018. Amy had a quiet and steadfast faith and a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior. She was passionate about our military and loved being the wife and daughter of US Navy veterans. Amy loved cooking and doing crafts and had a huge heart wanting to always make others happy. Amy enjoyed watching sports and especially cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Auburn Tigers and she had a great passion for poetry. Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Mabire-Kelpine. Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 15 years, Robert L Hartley; father, Richard A Kelpine; and extended family. The family will be receiving friends from 12 PM until 1 PM Sunday, August 12, 2018 with a Memorial Service following at 1 PM at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.

We remember Amy as a very cute 3 year old who stayed with us for a few days when she was with Judy and David. We extend our sorrow to the entire family. May her memory be a blessing.

I miss you and love you so much. Glad we got to spent time together in Orlando a few years back. Also, loved taking care of you for 3 months back in Wisconsin when you were only 3 years old, when you would come into my bedroom with your cup and your eyes closed, lean the cup next to your Uncle David, and say, “apple juice, Uncle David.” Now you get to spend more time with your Mother, your Uncle David and all your Grand Parents. Love, Aunt Judy Kelpine Bassin.
