She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Joiner and infant son, Mark Joiner. She is survived by 3 daughters, Carol (Clifford) Cagle of Colleyville, TX, Jean (James) Wheaton of Reno, NV, and Donna Bloomer of Augusta, GA; sister, Linda (Ronnie) Perkins of N. Augusta, SC, and brother, David (Jeanette) Sullivan; 4 granddaughters, Tiffany (Derek) Googin of Jacksonville, FL, Michelle (Scott) Carrigg of Hull, GA, Julie Wheaton of Reno, NV, and Amanda (Robert) Mikolajek of Maitland, FL; 2 grandsons, Jimmie Wheaton of Reno, NV, and Matthew Beckham of Augusta, GA; and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2011 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home Lumpkin Road Chapel. Interment will be Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
