Eddie was a gift from God. He had an amazing laugh and could light up a room. His favorite holiday was Christmas and he was like a kid on Christmas. He always made people laugh and did not have any enemies. His family says the world should have more people like Eddie.
Eddie is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ollie Mae and David Smith; and paternal grandparents, Rufus Bishop and Evelyn Peebles. Survivors include his loving parents, Lavon and Lillian Bishop; siblings, Sherry Wallis (Stephen), Michael Bishop (Rhonda) and Dewayne Bishop (Larry); and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces who loved him dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Epilepsy Foundation 3540 Crain Highway Ste 675, Bowie, MD 20716.The funeral home will be following all CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19.
