Elisabeth Benhart

Elisabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Benhart; her son, Franklin Benhart; her daughter, Janet Turner; and her parents, Karl and Ottille Wagner.

Elisabeth is survived by her children, Horst Benhart (Mitzy), Henry Benhart (Michelle), Helen Baker (Phillip); her grandchildren, April, Benjamin, Cassidy, Nicholas, Hunter, Andrew, Sarah, Aaron, Isabel; her great- grandchildren, Charlotte, Lukas, Stormi, Delilah and her cherished dog Pumpkin.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 24,2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home at 2524 Lumpkin Road Augusta, GA. Following the visitation there will be a graveside service held at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 2700 Deans Bridge Road Augusta, GA where she will then be laid to rest.

Elisabeth had a joy for gardening and flowers. She always seemed to be on the go and loved to travel. She really loved mountain ranges and nature. Although she enjoyed nature and being outside, she was a gambler at heart, but her true passion was enjoying time spent with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and sister. She will be missed deeply, but her memory will be carried by all who knew and loved her forever.
