A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. in the Elliott Sons Funeral Home Lumpkin Rd. Chapel with Rev. Hampton officiating.
Mrs. Carwell was a native of Franklin Texas, but has lived in Augusta for several years. She was a retired cook, and had been a daycare teacher.
Mrs. Carwell was preceded in death her sister, Ossie Allen, her two brothers, Willie Carwell, and Cubbie Carwell Jr. Survivors include her son, Charles Carwell, daughter, Tanya Tripp and 3-grandchildren. She is also survivered by her Sister, Ruby Carwell Misheaux, brothers, Billie and Darrell Carwell.
