

Mrs. Lois Howland, 82, of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. She retired from Fine Products Candy Factory after many years of faithful service. Mrs. Lois enjoyed fishing and was a wonderful seamstress. She loved life, laughter and spending time with her family. She was lovingly known as Grandma to many children over the years, making a dynamic impact in each of their lives.
Mrs. Howland was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Howland and grandson, Jamie Gillette, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Richard) Baker; three brothers, Alton “Buddy” (Verna) Stewart, Grady (Carolyn) Stewart and James (Wanda) Stewart; one sister, Elizabeth Huff; grandchildren, Haley Baker, John Baker, Shana Mills and Tyler Seim; step-children, Michael, Raymond, Steven and Kathleen Howland; dear friend, Robin Wactor; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM, Friday, July 17, 2015 in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Tyler Seim, Dustin Phelps, Kenneth Phelps, Jr., Ricky Stewart, Keith Major and John Coleman, Jr.
